Cape Cod’s favorite coastal escape is getting even better. Sea Crest Beach Resort in North Falmouth has announced the latest chapter in its ongoing transformation, just in time for summer. From refreshed guestrooms and poolside upgrades to an eye-catching new mural and expanded family-friendly features, the resort continues to evolve while honoring its signature Cape charm.
Fresh Spaces, Elevated Comfort
This season’s updates center on enhancing the guest experience across the board. The resort’s 78 Premier Oceanfront and Ocean View rooms now feature refreshed bathrooms, many with sleek new stand-up showers, and upgraded bath amenities by C.O. Bigelow. These refinements build on Sea Crest’s recent room upgrades, which introduced nautical-inspired décor, Serta Euro Pillow Top mattresses, modern flooring, and flat-screen TVs.
A Splash of Color: New Mural by Mia Cross
One of the most striking additions to the resort is a brand-new mural by local, award-winning artist Mia Cross. Set near the pool area, the vibrant artwork celebrates Cape Cod’s natural beauty through Mia’s bold, immersive style. Expect to see rich coastal colors, intricate patterns, and a distinct sense of place. The mural will be completed by Memorial Day weekend, offering guests a colorful new focal point during their stay.
Poolside Perks and the New Club Room
The revamped outdoor pool deck has already made a splash, but now the transformation extends indoors. The newly introduced Club Room, centrally located between the indoor and outdoor pools, offers a welcoming space to relax and recharge. With multiple seating options, a large TV, and easy pool access, it’s an ideal hub for families and friends to gather.
Arcade Access and Sweet Treats
Families will also love the expanded arcade, now with an outdoor entrance and extended hours. New games catering to all ages ensure even more entertainment for both overnight guests and local visitors.
Meanwhile, Captain Scoops is getting a refresh of its own. The beloved ice cream shop has added a walk-up window for easy ordering and debuted new Sundae School flavors like Bass River Mud (coffee ice cream with roasted almonds, chocolate chunks, and a fudge stripe). For a fun, frozen alternative, try one of the non-alcoholic frozen drinks—Virgin Piña Coladas, Strawberry Daiquiris, or Mudslides.
Celebrate the Upgrades at the Summer Kick-Off Party
To showcase the resort’s newest experiences, Sea Crest Beach Resort is hosting a Summer Kick-Off Party on May 22 from 3–6 PM in the Beachfront Courtyard. Open to resort guests and beach club members, the event will feature:
– Live music and lawn games
– Small bites from the resort’s five culinary venues, including The Lantern Room and Buzzards Bay Pizza Co.
– Drinks from partners like Fever-Tree, Une Femme, and Whalers Brewing
It’s a spirited start to the season and a great opportunity to explore all that’s new at the resort.
Weekly Shore Dinners Return June 25
Also launching this summer: Shore Dinners every Wednesday beginning June 25. Held in the courtyard, these relaxed outdoor meals showcase fresh seafood, seasonal sides, and unbeatable ocean views, a perfect way to toast a Cape Cod evening.
